DTG Printing on Cotton and Blends: A Sampling Checklist
Can I approve every blend using one cotton sample?

Approve each garment construction rather than relying on a generic cotton or blend label. Surface texture, finish and fiber composition can change the printed result.
Identify the real garment Record the manufacturer, style, composition, color and batch. Check whether seams, pockets or raised areas interfere with placement. Ask the printer and ink supplier whether the proposed blank falls within the supported application range.
Compare after finishing Print the same test artwork and complete the approved finishing process. Evaluate detail, color and surface appearance against a retained reference. Recheck material changes and new garment suppliers; the same product description does not guarantee identical behavior.
