Planning Small-Batch DTG Orders Without Losing Track
Should every small order use a different print preset?

Small-batch efficiency comes from controlling artwork, garment identity and handling queues. Printing speed is only one part of the order cycle.
Create one job record Link the customer approval, artwork revision, garment style, size and placement. Separate similar-looking orders with clear labels. Confirm whether each job needs a sample and avoid introducing an unapproved blank to complete a missing size.
Balance preparation and finishing Time the actual preparation, loading, printing and finishing steps. Allocate space for work in progress and keep inspected garments separate from unfinished ones. Review late orders by stage so additional equipment addresses the real constraint rather than a guessed one.
