Identify the real garment

Record the manufacturer, style, composition, color and batch. Check whether seams, pockets or raised areas interfere with placement. Ask the printer and ink supplier whether the proposed blank falls within the supported application range.

Compare after finishing

Print the same test artwork and complete the approved finishing process. Evaluate detail, color and surface appearance against a retained reference. Recheck material changes and new garment suppliers; the same product description does not guarantee identical behavior.

Production checklist

Use these checkpoints to prepare a trial or discuss the configuration with your supplier. Record the result for each item before approving a production change.

  • Blank style and composition
  • Supported application confirmed
  • Placement restrictions
  • Finished sample retained

Can I approve every blend using one cotton sample?

No. Test the actual garment composition and finish. Keep separate approval records for materially different blanks.
