What to Include in a Printing Equipment RFQ
A useful request for quotation states the application, materials, output expectations and support requirements. It lets suppliers propose comparable systems instead of guessing your needs.

Describe production first
Provide artwork examples, dimensions, substrate or garment details and expected order mix. State which operations are already handled by your business and which equipment is needed. Separate mandatory requirements from optional preferences.
Request a complete scope
Ask suppliers to identify machine configuration, software, accessories, consumables, training and delivery scope. Request sample terms and a clear process for technical questions. A low price without a defined scope cannot be compared fairly with a complete production package.
Production checklist
Use these checkpoints to prepare a trial or discuss the configuration with your supplier. Record the result for each item before approving a production change.
- Application and material list
- Order mix and accepted-output target
- Included equipment and services
- Sample and support scope
Is asking for the best printer price enough?
It usually leaves important choices undefined. Describe what you need to produce and request a configuration and scope that can be reviewed.
